ROCKAWAY BEACH — Police are searching for an "armed and dangerous" suspect in a deadly homicide inside the Hammel Houses this weekend.
Police say Norbert Williams, 52, is wanted for questioning in the stabbing death of Joseph Smart, 47.
Smart was found early Sunday in a first floor stairwell at 82-01 Beach Channel Drive, inside the Hammel Houses, with multiple stab wounds on his body, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Williams is considered "armed and dangerous," police warned.
