QUEENS — Police arrested an 18-year-old unlicensed driver after he struck a mother and two young children as they walked in Wavecrest on Wednesday.

Amjad Saleh, who lives in Fort Greene, drove his Dodge Charger into a woman as she pushed her 2-year-old and 3-year-old boys in a stroller near Beach 32nd Street and Seagirt Boulevard at around 12:21 p.m., according to officials.

The mother suffered a leg injury, the 3-year-old hurt his hand and the 2-year-old injured his head, a police spokesman said.

All three were taken to North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital in stable condition, according to officials.

Saleh remained at the scene and was later arrested for reckless driving, driving without a license, and failure to yield, police said.

He has two prior arrests, from 2016 and 2013, but both are sealed, an NYPD spokesman said.
