QUEENS — The same woman is behind two robberies which took place in the same portion of Forest Hills and targeted elderly victims, police said.

The most recent incident took place on Sunday at 3:45 p.m. at 102-30 67th Ave., between 102nd Street and Yellowstone Boulevard, where the suspect attacked a 73-year-old woman, knocked her to the ground and snatched her purse before fleeing on foot, authorities said.

The same suspect also robbed a 70-year-old woman on April 5 around 6:30 p.m., near the intersection of Yellowstone Boulevard and 67th Road, only one block away from where the Sunday incident took place.

The suspect also knocked the victim to the ground, grabbed her purse and fled on foot southbound on 67th Road, officials said.

Police described the suspect as being approximately 25 years old and 5-foot-5. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and sweatpants, officials said.

The two robberies are not part of a pattern in which a serial robber brutally attacked three woman in Forest Hills and Rego Park earlier this year, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
