ST. GEORGE — Shake Shack will open its first Staten Island outpost next year inside the still under-construction outlet mall.

The popular chain leased 3,865 square-feet of space inside Empire Outlets and plans to have burgers and milkshakes ready when the spot opens in March 2018.

"For years, so many of our guests and team members have hailed from Staten Island and continually asked us to bring a Shack to their neighborhood," Randy Garutti, CEO of Shake Shack, said in a statement. "With the opening of the Empire Outlets, we’re excited to call Staten Island home."

The Empire Outlets location will also include a 947-square-foot outdoor eating area facing the Manhattan skyline.

Aside from the Empire Outlets spot, Shake Shack previously announced it leased space at the Staten Island Mall as part of the center's expansion project and plan to open there in 2019.

Empire Outlets, which has been under construction at a former parking lot adjacent to the St. George Ferry Terminal, will be the city's only outlet mall when it opens next year.

It will bring 100 stores — Nike, H&M and Toys'R'Us — and a 190-room hotel.

Aside from Shake Shack, the spot will also have the borough's first Two Boots location and an "artisanal food hall," MRKTPL, run by the team behind Gansevoort Market.
