ST. GEORGE — Two Boots, the popular New York City pizza chain will open their first Staten Island outpost inside the outlet mall coming to the borough's waterfront next year.

The Manhattan-born franchise, known for its Cajun inspired pies named after pop culture icons, plan to open a 2,865-square-foot location inside the under-construction Empire Outlets adjacent to the St. George Ferry Terminal, developers announced Wednesday.

Aside from serving up slices, the location will have a full bar and an 800-square-foot terrace to host music, special events and more.

"Two Boots is excited to join Empire Outlets and bring our unique Cajun-Italian cooking to Staten Island," Two Boots founder Phil Hartman said.

"The restaurant will have a full bar, live music, an expanded menu and, like all branches of Two Boots, will feature the work of local artists."

The Staten Island location will be Two Boots 14th location in the area.

The chain opened their first spot in the Lower East Side in 1987 and was named for the similar boot geographic shape of Italy and Louisiana.

The spot is one of several restaurants that took space in the under-construction Empire Outlets, which will be the city's only outlet mall when it opens, and will join other eateries like Mighty Quinn's Barbeque, Nathan's and the "artisanal food hall" MRKTPL when it opens late next year, according to developers BFC Partners.

The project also includes 100 outlet stores, a 190-room hotel and a 1,250-space parking garage.
