"Slainte!" New Yorkers will be toasting one another come St. Patrick's Day.

The March 17 festival celebrating Irish culture, which began as a religious feast day for Ireland's patron saint, takes place on a Friday this year. That means you're free to sing Irish ballads until you're hoarse and drink as many pitchers of green beer as your stomach can handle — without worrying about work the next morning.

Find your perfect St. Paddy's Day celebration in the five boroughs below or jump to your borough here: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx

MANHATTAN

► Loreley Beer Garden, 7 Rivington St., Lower East Side

This heated beer garden makes a point of welcoming large groups and pub crawls. Happy hour will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and feature pints of Guinness and green lager and shots of Jameson and Jagermeister, all for $6 each.

► Bill's Bar & Burger, Various Manhattan locations

All three locations of this bar chain will be offering $5 pints of Guinness as well as "Cold Ass Green Beers" in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Happy hour specials at the Rockefeller Center and Downtown locations will also include half-off draft beers, $5 house wines, $5 mini burgers and half-off appetizers.

Rochelle's, 205 Chrystie St., Lower East Side

From 2 p.m. until closing, this bar is selling a can of Guinness and a shot of Jameson for $9.

► Empire Hotel Rooftop, 44 W. 63rd St., Upper West Side

For a different vibe this St. Patrick's Day, Buff and Brainiacs is hosting an "upscale" party. Only 150 people will be allowed into the reserved terrace, and "traditional Irish Music will be played at conversational levels all night." There will also be staff members on hand to introduce you around in case you come alone.

► Hudson Terrace, 621 W. 46th St., Hell's Kitchen

Hit up this two-level rooftop if you're looking for a club atmosphere. There will be free shots for anyone wearing green before 7 p.m. as well as an open vodka bar from 5 to 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

► Atwood Kitchen & Bar Room, 986 Second Ave., Midtown East

St. Patrick's Day will be happy hour all day. You can also get Fireball shots for $6, a shot of whiskey and a green beer for $8, or a pitcher of green beer for $15.

BROOKLYN

► Kilo Bravo, 180 N. 10th St., Williamsburg

Patrons get a free shot of Jameson with their first food and drink order, and an online reservation gets you in for free. Mash up your libations with some March Madness viewing starting at noon.

► Teddy's Bar & Grill, 96 Berry St., Williamsburg

This spot, which calls itself "Williamsburg's oldest continuously operating drinking establishment," promises to keep the Guinness flowing on March 17. It will also feature green frozen margaritas. There will also be food specials.

QUEENS

► Studio Square, 35-33 36th St., Long Island City

At the beer garden's quiet clubbing party, you'll wear a special pair of wireless headphones that lets you switch between the stylings of three different DJs. The LED light on your headset shines a different color depending on the channel you're listening to, so you know who's dancing to what. Early birds get a free specialty shot and tickets purchased in advance cost $10.

Austin's Ale House, 82-70 Austin St., Kew Gardens

This Queens pub is offering complimentary corned beef and cabbage (because what's more Irish than that?) at its bar from 3 to 5 p.m. The Monday Brunch Band starts a live set at 5:30 p.m.

THE BRONX

► Rambling House, 4292 Katonah Ave., Wakefield

This Irish pub in the Bronx is hosting a party the Saturday after St. Patrick's, during the McLean Avenue holiday parade. The festivities kick off at 1 p.m., and there's no cover charge to access all-day food and drink specials.

► The Sanz, 815 Allerton Ave., Allerton

Let your artistic side shine through at this St. Patrick's Day-themed paint party. Tickets are $40 and include painting supplies as well as wine and food from Gasolina Lounge.
