QUEENS — Two men were charged with murder in the first homicide of 2017.

Shakim Allen, 23, and Dreshuan Smith, 22, fatally shot Rocky Kalisaran, 31, and wounded his brother during a robbery on 124th Street in South Ozone Park on Jan. 2, according to the NYPD.

Allen pulled the trigger, hitting Kalisaran in the chest, arm and groin, according to prosecutors. Smith helped in the robbery and was also charged on Friday in the homicide, a police spokesman said.

Both men were charged with murder, robbery and criminal use of a firearm.

Kalisaran's brother was hit in his wrist and side, injuring his spine, spleen and both kidneys, according to court papers.

Allen was arrested Jan. 11, arraigned the following day and held without bail. He is due back in court on Jan. 26.

Smith was expected to be arraigned in Queens Criminal Court either Friday night or Monday.
