ASTORIA — Burglars who broke into the same 30th Street apartment building twice last week have been connected to more than a dozen other burglaries in which they pried open the cash machines of laundry rooms.

Two men and a woman stole packages from the lobby of a building on 30th Street near 34th Avenue on Jan. 10 and returned the next day to steal money from a cash machine in the basement laundry room, police said.

The group pulled off similar heists at 10 different apartment buildings in The Bronx between Oct. 28 and Dec. 26 of last year, using assorted tools to break open the cash machines, police said.

Those incidents took place in the 45th, 41st, 49th, and 44th precincts, according to the NYPD.

Between Dec. 20 and Jan. 11, they stole from laundry cash machines at eight different buildings in Queens, specifically within the 102nd, 107th and 114th precincts, police said.

The suspects drove a light-colored Nissan Pathfinder during many of the burglaries, according to police.
