ASTORIA — A trio of thieves swiped packages from the lobby of an apartment building, then returned the next day to steal money out of a cash machine in the laundry room, police said.

The suspects, two men and a woman, got out of a silver Nissan Pathfinder and entered the building on 30th Street near 34th Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. on Jan. 10, according to the NYPD.

The three walked around inside the building, then stole several packages from the lobby on their way out, police said. The NYPD did not have information on what the packages contained.

The next day, two of the suspects returned to the same building around 2 p.m. and pried open a cash machine in the basement laundry room and stole an unknown amount of money, police said.

The pair fled in the silver Nissan Pathfinder, according to police.

Surveillance video of the suspects shows them walking through the lobby of the building and riding the elevator.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
