The 31-year-old victim was outside 653 Stanley Ave. on the corner of Van Siclen Avenue just before 11 a.m. when the suspect approached, according to officials.

Video released by police shows the gunman crossing to the corner and taking out a weapon as he walks.

He fired three times, striking the man in the right leg before fleeing on foot, police said.

Police had no further details.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police describe the suspect as being between 35 and 40 years old with dreadlocks and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatsuit, gold-framed glasses and tan boots.
