CRIME BLOTTER: Man's Tires Slashed on Christmas Day After Parking Fight

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — A man’s car tires were slashed Christmas Day after he got into an argument with a woman over a parking space on Hawthorne Street, police said.

The 24-year-old said he got into a dispute with the woman outside 170 Hawthorne St. between Bedford and Rogers avenues Dec. 25 over the parking spot, then went inside his home nearby for about 10 minutes.

When he came back outside, he found all four tires had been slashed on his 2003 Nissan Maxima. The woman had fled the scene and has not been identified, police said.

► A 20-year-old man was arrested for possession of a loaded Taurus .357 Magnum revolver, loaded Israeli military firearm and .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol in an apartment at 1700 Bedford Ave. on the morning of Dec. 21. The man also had .40 caliber ammunition in the apartment.

► A 59-year-old salon worker was pepper-sprayed in the face by a suspect who stole an 18-inch weave worth $129 from the shop. The robbery took place at about 5:30 p.m. at Beauty Feel Supply located at 552 Flatbush Ave.

► A 23-year-old man was stabbed in the upper chest and shoulder during a party, he told police. He said he was at the event at 1150 Nostrand Ave. around 4:45 a.m. on Dec. 24 when a fight broke out. When he tried to intervene, he was stabbed by an unknown suspect.

► Three teenagers were arrested for stealing fake hair and hair gel from a Nostrand Avenue beauty supply store, then beating a 37-year-old worker who tried to stop him. The robbery took place at 1237 Nostrand Ave. at 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 26, police said. The victim said the three kids, ages 13, 14 and 15, came into the shop and took hair gel and a Vivica Fox Collection fake hair package worth $27 in total. When the worker approached them, the group pushed him to the ground, punched and kicked him causing pain and swelling to the head, hand and stomach. The three teenagers were identified and arrested soon after the robbery.
