FLATBUSH — A Brooklyn man sought in connection to the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Correction Officer Alastasia Bryan, was arrested Wednesday after a manhunt following her execution-style killing inside her car more than a week ago, DNAinfo New York has learned.

Keon Richmond, 34, an ex-con with a history of violence against Bryan and other former girlfriends, was found hiding in a closet in a Flatbush home on East 58th Street at roughly 1 p.m. by the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, which includes NYPD detectives, sources told “On the Inside.”

He was taken to the 63rd Precinct, where he faces charges he torched a 2013 Nissan Maxima belonging to another ex-girlfriend last October in East New York. He was charged with arson, two counts of criminal mischief, menacing and harassment related to the Oct. 23 incident, police said Thursday.

Richmond is suspected of masterminding Bryan’s execution Dec. 4 when she was shot five times at point blank range as she sat behind the wheel of her 2016 Infiniti near her home on East 73rd Street and Avenue L at 9:19 p.m.

Richmond had twice threatened Bryan last May, and even tried to run her off the road.

“On the Inside” reported Monday that Bryan had recently broken up with Richmond, and she had demanded he return her borrowed BMW, which “really pissed” off Richmond, according to a source.

Bryan, a rookie officer who started her job only last month, had reported her car stolen, and Richmond was arrested outside Resorts World Casino on Nov. 2.

He also has a history of threatening other girlfriends, including burglarizing the home of an ex in Jamaica, Queens where he cut up her clothes and furniture.
