CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are looking for four teens who beat, slashed and robbed a 56-year-old man in his apartment last month, the NYPD said.

Police said the man was in his McKeever Place home in Crown Heights at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 11 when four suspects approached his apartment. It was not immediately clear whether they knocked, but when the victim opened the door, someone in the group hit him on the head with a gun, then cut him in the face with an unknown object, police said.

The suspects then took a cell phone, PlayStation video game console and cash from the apartment and fled on foot.

The 56-year-old man was treated at a local hospital for injuries to the right side of his face, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance video images last week of three of the four suspects in the assault and robbery. All four suspects are described as teenagers, approximately 18 years in age.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS or for Spanish (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
