CRIME BLOTTER: 11-Year-Old Robbed by Group of Teens on Clarkson Ave.

BROOKLYN — Six teens are wanted by police for robbing an 11-year-old boy of his phone on Clarkson and Nostrand avenues last week.

The boy was walking along the northeast corner of the Flatbush intersection around 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 10 when the group surrounded him, police said.

One of the teens took the victim’s iPhone 6 from his pocket. The boy then tried to hit the phone out of one of the suspect’s hands, but when it fell on the sidewalk, the thief picked it up and the group ran away.

The cellphone was worth approximately $500, police said. The boy was not injured in the incident.
