BROOKLYN — Two burglars broke into a Crown Heights taqueria last week and made off with a bicycle and a case of orange juice, police said Saturday.
The two unidentified men broke into Nacho Macho Taco at 417 Prospect Place sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. Monday through the restaurant's rear basement door, taking the bicycle, electric bicycle batteries and a case of Tropicana orange juice before fleeing the scene, police said.
It was not immediately clear how the men gained entry through the rear door.
Surveillance video from the scene showed the two baseball cap-clad men, who police describe as in their mid 20s, entering the business.
There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800)577-TIPS, or for Spanish, (888)57-PISTA(74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website, or by texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES), then entering TIP577.
