WILLIAMSBURG — A mugger and his teen accomplice attacked a young woman, throwing her to the ground and kicking her before running off with her Louis Vuitton purse, according to police.

The 22-year-old woman was approached by Jose Luis Santos Vasquez and a boy police estimate to be about 13 at the corner of Seigel Street and Bushwick Avenue on Oct. 1 around 10:20 p.m., police said.

"What're you gonna do, b--ch?" the older man said in Spanish before snatching her purse, police said.

She fell to the ground and Vasquez kicked her in the ribs, prosecutors said.

Several days after the attack on Oct. 9, police arrested Vasquez, 22, a Bed-Stuy resident, and he was charged with robbery, assault, petit larceny and other crimes. He was being held at Rikers Island and is due back in court on Oct. 14, according to city records.

The woman was taken to Woodhull Hospital, police said. She was treated for pain and bruising to her left ribs.

Vazquez's Legal Aid attorney didn't respond to a request for comment.
