STATEN ISLAND — A man in a blue Adidas tracksuit whipped out a knife and fled from a Staten Island Target after a security guard caught him stealing electronics on Monday, police said.
The man strolled into the Target on Veterans Road West and Brickton Way at around 7:40 p.m. and grabbed $60 worth of electronics, police said.
He grabbed a knife when approached by a security guard and fled the department store parking lot in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, according to police.
Surveillance cameras at the store caught footage of the suspect, a man in a white baseball cap and blue sweat suit with white stripes, leaving the store.
