Bandits, One Wearing a T-Shirt as a Mask, Rob Laundromat Twice, NYPD Says

BAYSWATER — Two men robbed a laundromat at gunpoint in July and September, taking hundreds of dollars each time, police said.

The suspects first entered Laundry Land inside a shopping center at 32-25 Beach Channel Drive at midnight on July 28, showing a silver handgun to a 49-year-old woman and demanding cash, according to the NYPD.

They forcibly took $320 and fled, police said. No one was injured.

Months later, on Sept. 3, one of the men from the July robbery returned to Laundry Land at 3 a.m., taking $200 in cash, police said.

The suspect entered the laundry wearing a gray T-shirt over his face, which fell as he pulled out his gun, surveillance video shows.

An employee of the laundromat can be seen on the video pushing the suspect out of the store after handing over cash.
