MORRIS PARK — A 65-year-old pedestrian was killed crossing the street after being struck by two cars — one of which fled the scene, police said.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was walking across Bronxdale Avenue near Barnes Avenue around 9:18 p.m. Tuesday when a light-colored van heading west on Bronxdale Avenue hit him, according to the NYPD.

The man was thrown into the air and then hit by a dark-green Honda Odyssey going east on Bronxdale Avenue, police said. While the 33-year-old female driver of the Honda stayed at the scene, the driver of the van continued traveling west on Bronxdale Avenue, police said.

Emergency workers took the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, according to police.

The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is continuing to look into the crash.
