HELL’S KITCHEN — A Panda Express opened inside a Ninth Avenue building that once housed an Asian vegetarian restaurant.

The American-Chinese buffet chain officially opened its outpost at 663 Ninth Ave., on the corner of West 46th Street, Tuesday, the restaurant said in a release.

“We are humbled by the outpour of support guests are showing for our restaurants in Manhattan, and are excited to share our food and Panda family values with those in the area,” the chain’s area coach of operations said in a statement.

The Ninth Avenue eatery is Panda Express’ third location in Manhattan and its sixth in New York City, a store locator map shows.

The eatery — known for its “original orange chicken” — recently opened an outpost in Midtown and plans to open a fourth Manhattan eatery at 414 Eighth Ave., at the corner of West 31st Street, in the near future, a spokeswoman said.

Its Rego Park restaurant is expected to open in September.
