TIMES SQUARE — The celebrity chef behind the Plaza Hotel’s "European-inspired specialty food hall" is opening another one at the Crossroads of the World.

Todd English — who opened the eponymous Todd English Food Hall inside the hotel back in 2010 — has signed a lease for a space inside the former New York Times building at 229 W. 43rd St., between Seventh and Eighth avenues, developer Kushner Companies said in a release.

The American Market by Todd English is slated to open next summer and cover nearly 12,000 square feet, the developer said.

The food hall “will celebrate the nation’s cultural heritage through both casual and fast casual options,” the release said, and herbs and vegetables will grow on a “hydroponic herb garden wall” inside the venue.

English recently announced plans to open a 200-seat restaurant inside the W Hotel Downtown.
