FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A 200-seat restaurant run by celeb chef Todd English is readying to open inside the W Hotel Downtown.
The eatery, a two-level, 6,000-square-foot space, is slated to open this summer, The New York Post first reported.
Called The English, the restaurant will feature an oyster bar and outdoor patio, with a theme of "American glamour," English told The Post.
BLT Bar & Grill previously occupied the space inside the swanky hotel, which sits at the corner of Albany and Washington streets just steps from the World Trade Center.
