CORONA — The Yorkie pup snatched from the front steps of a Junction Boulevard home last month was returned after she was spotted in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, her family said.

A man found Linda the Yorkie near Terrace on the Park this week, recognized her from the missing dog fliers posted around Queens and called her family, they said.

"I don't know if there's a word greater than ecstatic," said Emily Feliberty, whose parents were in town visiting her with Linda when she was taken.

"We've laughed. We've cried. We've cried again."

Linda was taken from outside Feliberty's home on July 13 after she slipped out of the front door and into fenced-in front steps.

Surveillance videos showed a dark-haired woman in an Armani Exchange t-shirt and blue jean shorts walk up to the home and take Linda from behind the gate, closing the fence behind her as she left with the dog.

Feliberty's distraught parents began a #SaveLinda online campaign to find their dog, who was the runt of her litter and shakes when she walks.

They extended their trip by two weeks as they canvassed Queens, but eventually had to return home to Florida, Feliberty said.

When her mother received the call this week, Feliberty first tried to prepare her for another false lead, which she'd gotten her fair share of over the last month.

"I've gotten a lot of those phone calls over the course of the month, I tried to calm her down," Feliberty said.

But once she saw the photo of Linda, with the familiar curve of her spine, she knew it wasn't a false alarm.

Her parents are now figuring out the best time to come back up from Florida to bring their dog home.

"They were so excited, they haven't stopped texting me," she said.

It's not clear where Linda has been for more than a month or how long she was in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.
