CORONA — A beloved Yorkie dog was stolen from the front steps of a home near Junction Boulevard after slipping out the front door into the gated area, according to its owners.

Emily Feliberty, who lives in the home, said her parents came to visit her from Florida last week and brought their Yorkie, Linda, with them.

On Wednesday, July 13, at about 3:20 p.m., the dog managed to slip out the front door and into the fenced-in front steps area, where she walked in little circles for a few minutes, according to a video.

Suddenly, a dark-haired woman in an Armani Exchange T-shirt and blue jean shorts walks up to the home, opens the gate, walks up the stairs and scoops up the pup, closing the gate behind her as she leaves with it, according to the video.

She then got into the passenger seat of a car parked on the street, which drove off, the footage shows.

Feliberty's devastated parents hope for the return of their pet, who was the runt of her litter and shakes when she walks.

"We haven't slept all week," she said.

They've gotten the word out about their dog with #SaveLinda on social media, and a detective from the 110th Precinct is working on the case, she said.

The woman seen in surveillance video taking Linda has shoulder-length black hair, and was last seen wearing denim cutoff shorts, an Armani Exchange T-shirt, flip-flops and a large watch on her right wrist.

If you have information on this incident, call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
