VIDEO: Hit-and-Run Driver in Pickup Truck Strikes Man in Bronx Parking Lot

EDENWALD — The driver of a pickup truck slammed into a man in a Bronx supermarket parking lot before fleeing the scene, police said.

The hit-and-run took place on Aug. 2 around 5 p.m. in the parking lot of a Fine Fare grocery store near Grace Avenue and E. 233rd Street, the NYPD said. 

The 38-year-old victim was standing by the driver's side door of his van when the male suspect behind the wheel of a red Ford F-150 crashed into him before speeding away, police said.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital and remains in serious condition, according to police.
