CROWN HEIGHTS — Two men beat and robbed a cab driver after taking a ride from outside Manhattan’s criminal court building to Crown Heights, police said.

The 36-year-old driver told police he picked up the pair outside 100 Centre St. in Manhattan, the location of the main criminal court in the borough, and brought them to 458 Eastern Parkway near Rogers Avenue around 2 p.m. on Aug. 1.

When they arrived at their destination, the two began arguing with the driver, then punched him in the head, pushed him to the ground and took $70 in cash from the car. The two suspects then fled on foot.

The driver was treated for minor injuries. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have yet been made, police said.
