BROOKLYN — Police have released additional footage of a person they want to question in connection with the rape of a 60-year-old woman inside a boiler room in East New York last week.
The attacker grabbed the woman from behind, put his hand over her mouth and pulled her into the boiler room inside the building on Berriman Street, between New Lots and Hegemen avenues, about 6 a.m. July 13, police said.
He then punched her in the face repeatedly and raped her before fleeing, the NYPD said.
The person of interest is described as about 5-foot-6, 145 pounds, with a medium build. He has close cut hair and appears to have been wearing a blue hoodie.
