FAR ROCKAWAY — More than 20 alleged drug dealers were arrested Wednesday morning for selling crack, cocaine, marijuana and heroin around the Redfern Houses, according to the NYPD and Queens DA's office.

The bust was the culmination of a months-long investigation where undercover officers bought drugs more than 100 times, the DA said.

“This initiative is another in our continuing campaign to stop the plague of drug-dealing — and the often accompanying drug-based violence," in Far Rockaway, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.

At least 10 of the suspects were part of a local street crew, the Rowdy Boys Gang, according to an NYPD official.

“Today’s arrests and indictments represent the culmination of a long-term investigation stemming from precipitous drug-based violence within in the neighborhood of Far Rockaway," NYPD Commissioner William Bratton said in a statement.

The identities of those arrested was not immediately released.
