BROOKLYN — Two men who beat and tried to rape a woman before she fought them off were arrested Wednesday, the NYPD said.
The two men, Ibrahima Diallo, 24, and Boubacar Diallo, 21, pushed their 25-year-old victim up against a car, kissed her neck and groped her near Tennis Court and Ocean Avenue on May 25, according to the NYPD.
The woman was able to push her attackers off and make a run for it, but they caught up with her in the vestibule of a nearby residential building, NYPD officials said.
Ibrahima and Boubacar then pushed the woman up against a door and attempted to pull her pants off. But the woman again fought back and tried to get away, NYPD said.
The men then punched the victim in the face repeatedly, police said.
The attackers only fled when a resident of the building entered the vestibule and saw the assault, NYPD said.
The two men are charged with attempted rape, assault and sexual abuse, according to the NYPD.
