Woman Fights Off 2 Would-Be Rapists in Flatbush, Police Say

BROOKLYN — A woman fought off two men who beat her, pinned her against a wall in a building and tried to pull her pants off Wednesday, police said.

The 25-year-old woman was walking near Tennis Court and Ocean Avenue about 2:15 a.m. when a man shoved her against a parked car, kissed her neck and started groping her, NYPD officials said.

She managed to push the attacker off and tried to scramble to safety in a nearby residential building, police said.

But the initial attacker and another man, who between 18 and 25 and can be seen in police video, followed her into a vestibule of the building and pinned her against a door, police said.

They tried to pull off her pants and punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground, when she tried to fight back, police said.

They only stopped the attack when a tenant of the building came into the vestibule and scared the men off, police said.

One of the attackers was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers, police said.

The other wore a dark baseball cap, a black sweater and dark jeans, police said.
