Friday, April 15

► Tavern Concert: Queen Tipsy

Where: Historic Richmond Town's Guyon Tavern, 441 Clarke Ave., Richmond Town
When: 8 p.m.

Historic Richmond Town's series of acoustic concerts inside Guyon Tavern culminates this year with a performance by blues band Queen Tipsy. Tickets are $11 online, $13 at the door.

Saturday, April 16

Pinhole Camera Workshop

Where: Alice Austen House Museum, 2 Hylan Boulevard, Rosebank
When: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Alice Austen House Museum will host workshops Saturday teaching you how to build your own pinhole camera. You can bring them back next week to develop your shots during Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Workshops are $5 per person. Registration is required and can be done by calling 718-816-4506 extension 10 or emailing info@aliceausten.org.

Halal-ujah! Festival

Where: 5050 Skatepark, 354 Front St., Stapleton
When: 4:50 p.m.

5050 Skatepark will host a festival with arts, music, skating, biking and a halal cart on Saturday inside its Stapleton spot. The festival will have live performances from eight bands, including Gallons of Pork, Secret Nudist Friends and Paraiso, as well as artists, vendors and live skateboarders and bikers. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.

Stories of Staten Fashion Show

Where: Snug Harbor Cultural Center, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Livingston
When: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Snug Harbor will host a fashion show as part of its five-week long series of events curated by hip-hop artists William "STRADA" Perry and drummer Charlie Rock titled "S.O.S. (Stories of Staten)." The $10 fashion show will feature clothes from local designers Richmond Hood, Saviwear, Rosedream, F.L.Y.: First Love Yourself and G.R.E.A.T. Apparel.
 

Sunday, April 17

Bike the Boros: Staten Island

Where: Flagship Brewing Company, 40 Minthorne St., Tompkinsville
When: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Transportation Alternatives will host a bike ride through Staten Island to highlight what the borough has to offer and new bike lanes put in the past year. The "Bike the Boros" ride will offer a 50-mile course or a 35-mile "ride-at-your-own-pace" group tour and let cyclists inside the under-construction Freshkills Park. Registration is $50 starting at 8:30 a.m. at Flagship, which will host a finish festival from noon to 4 p.m.

Obscured/Omitted Artist Talk

Where: SIABC Gallery, 73 Wave St., Stapleton
When: Noon to 2 p.m.

The SIABC Gallery will host a talk featuring artists in their new exhibit "Obscured/Omitted" which features painters who obstruct or hide sections of their work. Artists Lauren Rinaldi, Chris RWK, Gregory Moncada and Laura Bochet will discuss their art and field questions from the audience during the talk. Poetry Afternoon: Mothers and Daughters

Where: Staten Island Museum, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Livingston
When: 2 to 3 p.m.

As part of National Poetry Month, poet Marguerite Maria Rivas will read her work at the Staten Island Museum on Sunday. The event is in memory of poet Janelle Yates, who passed away in January. The reading is free with museum admission.
