CROWN HEIGHTS — A stranger slashed a 35-year-old man in the cheek in an unprovoked attack in Crown Heights last week, police said.

The victim told police he was walking to a deli at 876 Nostrand Ave. near President Street at 12:30 a.m. on April 1 when another man approached him from behind, grabbed his shoulder and said “yo fam.”

When the victim turned around, the suspect slashed him across the cheek with an unknown object and fled on foot eastbound on President Street.

The suspect is approximately 25 years old, police said, and is unknown to the victim, who suffered minor injuries in the attack.

► Two men were arrested for buying and selling crack cocaine on the corner of Franklin Avenue and Eastern Parkway on March 30. Officers observed a 64-year-old man give a 66-year-old man a package of crack in exchange for money at around 12 p.m. in front of 808 Franklin Ave., a liquor store. Upon their arrest, police said officers found 33 foil-wrapped packages of crack on the seller.

► A 63-year-old woman told police an unknown man took her pocketbook from the back of her motorized scooter as she was going into her building at 1004 Eastern Parkway around 4 p.m. on March 31. The day after the theft, $900 had been taken out of her checking account, she told police.

► A 54-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man were hit with bleach after a 61-year-old relative of the woman got into an argument with her around 10 p.m. at a Nostrand Avenue bodega on April 1, police said. Both victims were inside the store at 996 Nostrand Ave. near Sullivan Place when the suspect entered, began arguing with the woman and threw bleach at her eyes, also hitting the 75-year-old. The suspect, who violated an order of protection during the altercation, fled on foot. The woman was treated at Kings County Hospital.

► An 18-year-old man was robbed of his cellphone at gunpoint around 12:45 a.m. on April 3, police said. The victim was walking along Montgomery Street between Utica and East New York avenues when an unknown male came up to him, pulled out a black firearm and told him “give me what you got.” The robber then took the teen’s iPhone 6 Plus, worth approximately $850, and fled on foot eastbound on Montgomery Street.
