CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in the murder of a young Crown Heights father earlier this month.

Marlon Shuffler, 22, was shot in the head and killed outside a Lincoln Place apartment building near Franklin Avenue on March 10, police said.

Shuffler left behind a 5-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son and was expecting another child soon, those who knew him said.

On Tuesday, police released a surveillance photo of a man wanted for questioning in the homicide. The image shows a man walking in a dark-colored, hooded jacket zipped all the way up with part of his face obscured.

The police department said the pictured man is not yet a suspect, but is considered a person of interest in the case.

More than a week after the shooting, flowers, remembrances and dozens of candles marked the street near where the incident took place, with messages scrawled on posters and cardboard.

“Love you always baby boy,” one read. “Imm miss you bro,” another said. “Live forever.”

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
