When Broadway hit "Hamilton" visited the White House, President Barack Obama expressed worry about the affordability of tickets to the show. But for many fans, ticket availability is the main barrier to seeing the show. Tickets to the popular musical are perpetually unavailable (unless you’re one of these 20,000 NYC students), and most fans have turned to the daily lottery for a chance at scoring tickets.

Avid Hamilton fan and Shophood app co-founder Lukas Thoms has created an additional tool to aid in winning the lottery: an iPhone widget that has the singular purpose of helping you enter the digital "Hamilton" lottery.

Thoms says that the Ham App sends a daily push notification that takes you to the entry page. Every time you visit this page, Ham App auto-fills your personal information, giving you the advantage of the 3 minutes you would spend entering it on your own.

“Immediately after I saw "Hamilton" a few weeks ago I wanted to see it again. After going through the cumbersome and user-hostile lottery process, I realized I could make it much easier to enter the lottery. So I did,” Thoms said in a press release about the app.

After its release on Wednesday, Ham App may give its users an advantage in the race to see the musical.
