CROWN HEIGHTS — An 18-year-old was hospitalized after a group of men beat him with bats at a nightclub, police said.

The victim was inside The Buzz club at 103 Empire Blvd. in Crown Heights just after midnight on Feb. 28 when he got into an argument with four men, he told police.

The group began beating him on his knees, arms and body with bats and then dragged him to the sidewalk outside the club. The suspects then fled in a white Toyota sedan, police said.

The 18-year-old was taken to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

The victim did not know his attackers, police said. No suspects have been identified in the assault and no arrests have been made.

► A 22-year-old man was shot in the stomach at an Eastern Parkway subway station following an argument with two other men. Witnesses told police the victim and the men had a dispute on a southbound 3 train just before midnight on Feb. 27. The three men then got off the train at the Nostrand Avenue stop at Eastern Parkway where one of the suspects took out a gun and shot the 22-year-old in the abdomen. Both of the suspects then fled the station on foot. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Investigators recovered one spent shell on the scene, but no suspects have yet been identified.

► A 32-year-old woman was hospitalized after a car hit her and then fled on Flatbush Avenue. Police said the crash happened in front of 722 Flatbush Ave. near Parkside Avenue around 4:45 a.m. on Feb. 24. As the woman was crossing the street with the light, a black vehicle traveling southbound on Flatbush hit her, then fled making a right on Parkside and traveling west. The woman suffered an injury to her right hip. She was taken to SUNY Downstate hospital for treatment.

► Jewelry worth $2,300 was taken from the Nostrand Avenue apartment of a 57-year-old woman, police said. The resident told police she came home to 1061 Nostrand Ave. around 10 p.m. on Feb 26 to find her bedroom closet doors open and earrings, chains and bracelets missing. Police said there were no signs of forcible entry and no suspects have been identified.

► A 37-year-old man reported to police that an unknown person threw a rock through the front window of his house on East New York Avenue between Kingston and Albany avenues around 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 28.
