► Lincoln Center Local Screening: New York Philharmonic Opening Gala with Itzhak Perlman

Where: Fresh Meadows Library, 193-20 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows
When: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Lincoln Center is teaming up with the Queens Library to bring free screenings of world-class performances to various neighborhoods throughout the borough. Visit the Fresh Meadows branch this Monday, and watch world-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman joining the Philharmonic to perform his personal favorites. The screening is free.

Post-Glou Winemaker Soiree

Where: June Wine Bar, 231 Court St., Cobble Hill
When: 5:30 p.m. to midnight

June, Cobble Hill’s popular natural wine bar, is bringing together nine winemakers from around the world to cap off The Big Glou, New York’s first natural wine fair that took place over the weekend.

The Business of Sports

Where: Regus High School, 55 E. 84th St., Upper East Side
When: Doors open at 6 p.m.; panel begins 7 p.m.

ESPN’s Pablo Torre, Sunil Gulati, the president and member of the U.S. Soccer Federation and FIFA Executive Committee, and Joseph Leccese, the chairman of the Proskauer law firm, will discuss the business side of sports. $25 per person.

Tuesday, March 1

 Film premiere: “Daft Punk Unchained”

Where: FIAF, Florence Gould Hall, 55 E. 59th St., Upper East Side
When: 4 p.m.

Be the first to see a documentary tracking Daft Punk’s career from the mid-1990s in Paris to their 2014 Grammy win. Guests like Kanye West, Pharrel Williams and Michel Gondry make special appearances.

Eat, Drink & Be Literary: Eileen Myles

Where: Brooklyn Academy of Music, Peter Jay Sharp Building, 30 Lafayette Avenue, Fort Greene
When: 6:30 p.m.

Hear from celebrated author Eileen Myles, in conversation with author Alexander Chee, about her creative process over dinner, drinks and live music at this year’s edition of Eat, Drink & Be Literary. Audience members will get the chance to ask questions and attend a book signing after the discussion. Tickets are $60 and books will be available for purchase at BAM’s Greenlight Bookstore kiosk.

NAG Screening of Blue Vinyl at Nitehawk

Where: Nighthawk Cinema, 136 Metropolitan Ave., Williamsburg
When: 7 p.m.

Local environmental group Neighbors Allied for Good Growth is hosting a screening of “Blue Vinyl” a documentary that attempts to track the origins and the environmental impact of the vinyl siding the filmmakers’ parents have decided to re-shingle their home with. The hilarious and sobering journey takes them to Louisiana, to California and to Italy. After the film, director Judith Helfand and NAG reps will hold a Q + A to discuss a vinyl plastics Superfund site in Greenpoint.

Pat Kiernan’s Third Annual Red Carpet Trivia Night

“Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict”

When: 3:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

This documentary traces the life and impact of the famous and influential art collector and socialite Peggy Guggenheim.

Ladies Open Mic Night at People’s Improv Theater

Where: People’s Improv Theater, 123 E. 24th St., Gramercy
When: 6:30 p.m.

Comedy is not just for bros! Women, come flex your comic muscles at this open mic night. First 15 attendants get a spot, and it’s $3 for three minutes.

New York Times photographer Chester Higgins Jr. and Brooklyn’s African Diaspora

Where: Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont St., Brooklyn Heights
When: 6:30 p.m.

Higgins has spent 40 years at the Times documenting Brooklyn’s African diaspora, in addition publishing multiple books on photography and his memoir, “Echo of the Spirit.” He will discuss his work in a conversation with City Council Member Laurie Cumbo, who is also the founder of Brooklyn’s Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts.  

“I Am A Dandy: The Return of the Elegant Gentleman” An Illustrated Lecture

Where: Morbid Anatomy Museum, 424A Third Ave., Gowanus
When: 7 p.m.

Tickets are $8 to this lecture by Rose Callahan and Nathaniel Adams, “the world’s foremost dandyologist,” according to the Morbid Anatomy Museum. They’re the co-authors of a book with portraits and profiles of dandies.

Tolani & Margaret Tran at Tiny Montgomery

Where: Tiny Mongtomery (inside Threes Brewing), 333 Douglass St., Gowanus
When: 8 p.m.

See the six-piece band Tolani perform, with cellist Margaret Tran opening the show.

Highlights in Jazz: Salute to Paquito D'Rivera

Enjoy a night of jazz musician Paquito D’Rivera, a Cuban-born musician who has won 14 Grammy awards. Tickets are $50.
