WILLIAMSBRIDGE — A pair of men jumped out of a car on a Bronx street Saturday evening and slashed a woman on the sidewalk, before jumping back in the car and fleeing, police said.

Video footage released by the NYPD shows the suspects jumping from a black, two-door sedan at 3046 Holland Avenue at about 5:19 p.m, and confronting a group of people standing on the  sidewalk. As the group scatters, one suspect chased one of the pedestrians, while the other suspect chases another, his knife clearly visible in the video.

Police said both of the men stabbed a 26-year-old woman — one hitting her in the stomach, while the other slashed her right ear.

The suspects then fled the scene in the black sedan, traveling east on Burke Avenue.

Information on the status of the victim was not available as of Monday morning, the NYPD said.

Police said the first suspect is 6 feet 1 and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green hooded sweater, red shorts, black sneakers, and a gray winter cap.

The second suspect is said to be 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray pants.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
