PROSPECT PARK — Smorgasburg is coming back to the park for another season.

The popular outdoor food market is set to return to Prospect Park this summer after its initial run there last fall, the Prospect Park Alliance announced.

The foodie extravaganza will open April 3 and continue every Sunday this summer and fall through Oct. 23.

The new Smorgasburg will be located on the east side of the park, just inside the Lincoln Road entrance near the Lakeside skating rink, according to the Alliance.

The weekly event will feature about 100 local food vendors, the group said, but the final list of purveyors has not yet been confirmed.

“We are thrilled to have Smorgasburg return to Prospect Park this year to continue to enliven and enhance the food options available for our many park visitors,” Prospect Park Alliance President Sue Donoghue said.

“The partnership with Smorgasburg proved extremely successful in our pilot last year and park-goers loved having this popular food market in the park.”

Since its founding in 2011, Smorgasburg has moved all around the city — and now beyond the five boroughs as well.

Originally located in Williamsburg, the food festival has operated in Brooklyn Bridge Park, at a Crown Heights beer hall, in Long Island City, at Prospect Park for a couple of months last summer, at the South Street Seaport and fall and at Industry City in Sunset Park this past winter.

In addition, the foodie event recently announced a weekly event opening in Los Angeles this June and a branch to open in Kingston in the Hudson Valley on Saturdays this summer.
