CROWN HEIGHTS — A teenager who thought he was meeting a girl from Facebook last week got pistol-whipped and robbed instead, police said.

The 18-year-old told police he was set to meet up with a girl he’d met through Facebook at 1730 Carroll St., near Rochester Avenue, around 1 a.m. on Jan. 29.

When he arrived at the apartment and rang the doorbell, he said five men approached him and three of them flashed handguns.

The group then attacked the teen, pistol-whipping him in the face and back, police said. They then forcibly removed his iPhone 6, keys and $60 in cash.

The victim said he recognized one of the assailants, a 20-year-old man, but none of the others. The suspects fled on foot and have not yet been identified, police said.
