EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A Chinese food delivery man braving his way through the blizzard was robbed at gunpoint Saturday evening, according to local police.

Three men in ski masks approached the 41-year-old victim outside the Bushwick Houses at 869 Flushing Ave. around 6 p.m. and trained a black gun on him, police said.

"Money, money, money!" the men shouted, the victim told police. "Drop the food!"

The delivery man complied and gave them $55 worth of Chinese food from New Fun Sing Restaurant where he worked, and $200 cash, according to police said.

Opportunistic robbers have long spied food delivery men as targets all across the city.

About a week before Saturday's incident, another Chinese food delivery man was attacked and robbed, nearby in Bushwick, according to police.

On Jan. 13 near the intersection of Grove Street and Wilson Avenue just after 8:30 p.m., two men pistol-whipped a Chinese food deliveryman and robbed him of the food he had, along with $100 cash.

The 32-year-old victim was taken to Wyckoff Hospital and treated for a gash on his head, police said.

No arrests have been made in either incident and an investigation is ongoing. Workers at New Fun Sing Restaurant declined to comment.
