CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are on the lookout for a man who pulled a knife on a bodega worker who tried to stop him from stealing a “Cup-o-Noodle” soup, officials say.

The suspect walked into a bodega at 1188 President St. near Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights around 10:00 p.m. on Monday and told the 34-year-old worker behind the counter, “you owe me change from last night,” police said.

When the worker refused to give him money, the suspect grabbed a chicken-flavored “Cup-o-Noodle” ramen package off a shelf and fled the shop.

As the worker followed the suspect outside the store to get the soup back, the man pulled out a knife, threatened him with it and then fled on foot. The worker was not hurt, police said.

Police have not identified the assailant and no arrest has been made.
