RED HOOK — One man was killed and another wounded after a Sunday night shooting in the Red Hook Houses, police said.

Authorities found a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest inside a first-floor apartment in 450 Columbia St., near Mill Street, around 10:10 p.m. on Jan. 10.

About five minutes later, police discovered a 33-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds in the lobby of 458 Columbia St., an adjacent building, officials said. 

Both victims were rushed to Methodist Hospital, where the man found in the lobby was pronounced dead, police said. His identity was not immediately released.

The 27-year-old victim was in stable condition, officials said. 

Two guns were found in the lobby of 458 Columbia St., police said.  

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
