PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — A 58-year-old man was arrested in the neighborhood last week after investigators found multiple guns, a large amount of marijuana and several marijuana plants in his Sterling Street home, according to police and prosecutors.

Operating on a search warrant, police raided the second-floor apartment of Richard Ramos, 58, around 11:00 p.m. on Dec. 30 inside 150 Sterling St. in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.

There, they found four firearms, two air rifles, bullets and bags of marijuana, police said. Officers also found four pot plants growing in the house, according to court documents.

The raid was conducted by the 71st Precinct, which afterwards tweeted a photo of the items confiscated in the operation.

Ramos is facing multiple counts of criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of marijuana, among other charges, court documents show.

He was arraigned on Dec. 31 and released on $10,000 cash bail, court records show. He is next appearance is set for July 29.

Ramos’ attorney could not be reached for comment.

► A 22-year-old woman told police she was parked at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway around 11:40 p.m. on Dec. 30 when a man opened the front passenger door of her Ford E350 van and hit her in the face with pepper spray, then took $200 from the dashboard of the vehicle and fled on foot.

► A 25-year-old man was assaulted by a stranger in his Eastern Parkway home, police said. The man was in his apartment at 1098 Eastern Parkway around 8:40 a.m. on Dec. 31 when a man knocked on his door and said “I want to talk.” When the victim opened the door, the suspect — approximately 20 years old — took out a box cutter and threatened him with it. The 25-year-old then tried to close the door and the man took out a handgun then threw a substance smelling of bleach at the victim’s eyes, he told police. The assailant then fled on foot.

► An unknown burglar broke into the AT&T store at 1110 Eastern Parkway near Utica Avenue between 7:15 and 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and stole a bank bag full of cash totaling $1,335. The burglar or burglars entered and left through the front door, police said, and have not been identified.

► Two men got into a dispute that turned into a gunfight in the parking lot of a pharmacy on New Year’s Eve, police said. The argument started between the 30-year-old victim and the suspect, an approximately 40-year-old man, around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the Rite Aid on the corner of Bedford Avenue and Montgomery Street. Police said the suspect took out a black firearm, shot two rounds at the victim and fled. The man was uninjured. Police recovered one shell casing at the scene.

► An 18-year-old was assaulted and robbed while leaving a New Year’s Eve party on Washington Avenue, police said. The teenager was walking out of 901 Washington Ave. around 4:00 a.m. on Jan. 1 when a group of three or four people approached him, punched him in the face and took his iPhone 5, $160 in cash he had in his pocket, a red leather jacket he had been wearing and his T-shirt. The group fled on foot.

► Police are looking into three burglaries that occurred in adjacent Crown Heights buildings within a 24-hour period and may be related, they said. The first break-in happened on Jan. 3 at 921 Washington Ave. where a 32-year-old man’s apartment was ransacked and an Apple iPad, Dell laptop, passport and social security card were taken. The second burglary took place on Jan. 4 around the corner at 916 Carroll St. off Washington Avenue. There, a 38-year-old woman reported someone had broken into her apartment and stolen jewelry, a jewelry box and a bottle cognac. On the same day, a 63-year-old woman at 901 Washington Ave., a block away from the Jan. 3 burglary, reported that someone had stolen gold jewelry worth $850 from her apartment while she was at work.
