CARROLL GARDENS — A 10-year-old boy was robbed for a few dollars by a group he said threatened him with a firearm, according to police.

The child was at Henry Street and Fourth Place on Dec. 8 around 4:30 p.m. when three unknown people approached him, according to the police report.

The trio allegedly displayed a firearm at the boy and took $3 from the victim, the report said.

The incident was reported to police Dec. 11 after the victim eventually informed an adult.

In the 28-day period ending Dec. 13, robberies were down 3.6 percent for the year in the 76th Precinct.

After the precinct faced a summer spike in burglaries, incidents were still up 32 percent when compared to last year, but have dropped by 44.4 percent compared to the previous 28-day period.
