THE BRONX — A Bronx man wanted for killing the mother of his child was found dead Tuesday from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the NYPD.

Tyrone Lowe, 30, was found with a gunshot wound to his head inside a Honda Odyssey parked in front of a bowling ally on Hollers Avenue in Eastchester at about 4:40 p.m. on Dec. 9, an NYPD spokesman said.

Police suspected Lowe of shooting his ex-girlfriend, Shoshane Rattigan, 28, in the head inside her Bogart Avenue building on Dec. 1.

Neighbors said Lowe was verbally abusive with Rattigan and that she once ran out of the apartment yelling, “He’s beating me!”

He had been on the lam since Rattigan’s death, according to police, and was found dead in the same car he used to flee her apartment.
