FLATBUSH — The police department’s “Cash for Guns” program is coming to the neighborhood this weekend.

Residents are invited to bring any operable handgun or assault rifle to the Lenox Road Baptist Church on Saturday, where NYPD members will swap them for $200 cash cards, no questions asked.

The department will also take working rifles, shotguns and airguns in return for $25, according to an event flyer.

The program is for anyone, excluding current and former members of law enforcement and gun dealers, the NYPD said; service weapons will not be accepted.

All guns brought to the church, located at 1356 Nostrand Ave. south of Lenox Road, must be in a box or bag. Those interested in returning multiple guns may do so, but the NYPD will only pay for three guns per individual.

Guns may also be turned in for $100 at these eight city precincts at any time as part of the Cash for Guns program.

The Cash for Guns event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1356 Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn.
