Space available. Great location. Must love ghosts.

A landmarked former funeral home is up for rent on Vanderbilt Avenue, offering 1,250 square feet of retail space across from the east side of the future Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park complex in Prospect Heights.

The storefront at 575 Vanderbilt Ave., formerly the Ray M. Smith Funeral Home, is available for $9,000 a month, according to a listing on commercial real estate site Loopnet, first spotted by readers of neighborhood message board Brooklynian.

The advertisement for the space, which still sports its distinctive columns, recessed doorway and faux white stone facade, touts a “brand new white box space” located directly adjacent to the Barclays Center and the soon-to-be, multi-tower Pacific Park residential development — still under construction but selling its first multi-million-dollar condominiums.

The building, located between Pacific and Dean streets, was designated a landmark as part of the creation of the Prospect Heights Historic District in 2010, property records show. Ray Smith owned the property through his funeral home company from 2005 until this summer, deeds show, when he sold it to an LLC for $2.35 million.
