It's a tough life for men. From earning more than their female counterparts to being represented by politicians who look just like them, the burden of masculinity weighs heavily.

Being exposed to the world their daughters have to live in appears to be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Digital storytelling outfit The Scene showed three dads a recent project which followed their daughters as they walked around in Manhattan.

While the women walked, a hidden camera captured the unsolicited, sometimes sexual remarks men make to women in the city every day.

Watch these dads respond in the video below and see if you can spot their shoulders sink as the weight of the world they're carrying grows.

The video, published on YouTube on August 17th, has since received over 300,000 views.

It isn't the first video to highlight men struggling with women being catcalled, though.

In July, Cosmopolitan made a street harassment video in which boyfriends reacted to footage of their girlfriends being harassed by men as they strolled through Midtown, Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen.

As you might imagine, the men featured in these videos recoiled in shock and revulsion. In the dad video, one forlorn father, Meir, said that "there would be a fist fight" if a man harassed his daughter in front of him.

These recently-released male reaction videos almost make it seem as if street harassment is an issue that everyone should care about, even if they aren't directly affected by it. Thanks, men, for clearing that one up for us.
