EDENWALD — Police are searching for a man who exposed himself and tried to rape a 43-year-old woman Wednesday night.
The crime took place along Amundson Avenue in the 47th Precinct around 8:55 p.m., when the suspect came up to his victim from behind, police said.
He then pulled his pants down and put his genitals on her back before running away, according to the NYPD.
Officers described the suspect as a man weighing between 130 and 135 pounds and standing 5 feet 5 inches tall.
