You Decide: Where Does Cobble Hill Start and Carroll Gardens End?

BROOKLYN — Whether big or small, waterfront or landlocked, every neighborhood has its own community, identity and, of course, boundaries.

But knowing where these lines begin and end can be a constant source of consternation for locals.

For example, which streets separate Carroll Gardens from Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill?

And what about the Columbia Street Waterfront District with its tongue-twister of a name? (At least one celebrity chef has proposed changing it to "Cobble Hook" because of its nearness to Red Hook and Cobble Hill).

So we're leaving it up to you. Use the map below to draw out your neighborhood's boundaries. Once we have enough submissions, we'll share our findings so we can finally get to the bottom of this.
